Biography

Mundele "Great Man Dele' D" Bayeta Mulato was born on August 14, 1983, in Tucson, Arizona, died March 12, 2012 at 28 years old. In Tucson, Mundele attended Davidson Elementary School, Doolen Middle School, and Catalina High School. While in Michigan, he attended Huron High School. As a child, he was an avid athlete and loved to play soccer. One of his athletic accomplishments was to be selected to play soccer in the USA Junior Olympics.

As he grew older, Mundele became a fan of rap music, composing his own music and started his own music production company, Cousins in Action Black Diamond Inc. (CIABD).

Among friends and family, he was known as a loving and caring person who always put others before himself. Mundele had a supernatural love for his Mom, children and animals.

Mundele is survived by his mother Gilbertine Mulato; father Matu Mulato; sisters Bitaya and Makaya Mulato; brothers Thierry Batalonga and Roch Batalonga. On his mother's side he leaves aunts Honorine Mombele, Marie-Noel Mombele, Henriette Mombele, and uncle Djo Mombele. On his father's side, he leaves aunts Vejana Mulato, Luisa Mulato, Fatima Mulato, Vicky Mulato; uncles Garcia Mulato, Monteiro Mulato, Ernesto J. Mulato, Joao Mulato, and Pinto Mulato. He leaves behind many beloved cousins such as Dr. Makaya Bisanga Mulato, Pauline Ekoko Mboya, and Manuel Mulato. Mundele leaves behind beloved family friends Debra "Mah" Richards, Loretta Gastelum, Spencer Johnson, Stacy Richards, Hope Richards, Justin Richards, Kelly Charles, Tyana Felix and Danielle, a god-daughter, Elizabeth Apolinar, his friends and many fans.
