Norma Thorstad Knapp
Jim & all of Shari's family,
During some of our high school years in Dickinson, ND, Shari and I both lived near Roosevelt Elem. School, so we walked to and from school together and got to know each other well. So many memories I have of her talents, her mother, her comfy home, her gifts of listening, art, and design. Her acceptance and curiosity of all people were remarkable. Years later, around 2006, when I visited my brother Gordy in Tucson, we met, lunched together, reminisced, shared stories for hours, and basked in our time together. It was a precious, memorable time for both of us.
My belief is that she is not gone; rather she now lives near each one of you, her family, transformed into power, into light, and into love.
My deep sympathy,
Norma Thorstad Knapp
