Carys Siobhan Robertson

Carys Siobhan Robertson died on April 7th, 2022, surrounded by her loving parents at Diamond Children’s Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. Carys was born on February 28th, 2011, to parents Dr. Heather and Mr. Patrick Robertson in Sierra Vista, AZ. Carys was a 5th grade student at Senita Valley Elementary in Tucson, AZ. Her favorite pastime was art, and she was often sketching, painting, and sculpting. She also enjoyed reading, watching anime or baking shows, collecting rocks, and spending time with her best friend Mira. She loved jazz, punk rock music, and played the piano and flute. She was described by her friends and family as bright, thoughtful, inquisitive, and with a unique energy which was nurtured by her loving parents. Carys was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents Harold G. Heying, William D. Moore and Virginia A. Moore (neé McDowell), her paternal great-grandparents William W. Robertson, Patricia G. Robertson (neé Rohl), Joseph J. Paul, and Angeline R. Paul (neé Ventura). She is survived by her parents, and numerous family and friends. The Robertsons wish to thank Tucson Fire Department Station 17, and the entire staff at Diamond Children’s Medical Center. They especially wish to recognize the team at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, who treated the entire family with exceptional empathy and kindness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carys’s honor to American Stroke Association at www.stroke.org. For those who wish to attend Carys's memorial service the attire is casual and bright colors are encouraged.
