Julie My-Quan Huynh M.D., Ph.D. (Honorary)

Julie Huynh, 29, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on January 21, 2022. Julie was born on March 12, 1992 in Tucson, AZ. After attending University High School in Tucson, Julie attended and graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's and master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Following her masters, Julie was accepted into the MD/PhD program and was on the path of pursuing her dreams to become a physician scientist. Julie was a brilliant and devoted student, scientist and writer. In addition to her academic studies, she loved working as a student editor for many magazines. Always committed and dedicated to her work, Julie was an inspiration to many and was able to accomplish so much in so little time. Julie was a coffee and food connoisseur. She was passionate in many hobbies: piano, drawing, photography, creative writing and poetry. She also enjoyed hiking, jogging, traveling and spending time with her dog Lucky, and her two cats Cha Cha and Cori. Julie was an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She was loved by all who knew her and could always light up a room with her warm smiles and contagious laughter. She brought joy, optimism and cheer everywhere she went and knew how to look at the positive in any situation. She had a generous heart and was the greatest gift to all who knew her. She will forever remain in our hearts. Julie is survived by her parents, two sisters, grandma, boyfriend and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A viewing & visitation will be held on Friday, Jan 28 from 12pm-2pm, and funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan 29 from 8-11am at Evergreen Cemetery.
