Mariana Leon Davila
August 18, 1936 - September 7, 2021
Mariana Leon Davila (Ana) 85 years old of Tucson, AZ departed this world peacefully while fully embraced by the everlasting love of her family on September 7, 2021. Over the years, Ana has held many jobs, but the most meaningful ones include taking care of others. She became a Day Care provider when her grandchildren began arriving and then became an adult care provider after they had grown. Ana’s passions included making tamales, listening to Christian music, and above all worshipping the Lord. If you were blessed to have met her, you were guaranteed to have made a faithful friend and protector for life. To know her, was to certainly love her. Though there were many, two of Ana’s greatest talents were the ability to accept you without judgement and to shower you with unconditional love. She leaves behind her husband W. James Davila, her sister Delia 'Dolly' (Vicente) Amparano, and her most precious gifts being her children; Patsy (Junior) Martinez, Debbie (Danny) Gutierrez, Eddie Osollo, and Ann Marie ‘Deta’ (Tim) Davis. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, 2.5 Great-Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Services will be held Friday September 24 , 2021 at 10:00 am at Evergreen Mortuary Chapel 3015 N, Oracle Rd Tucson, AZ 85705 The family would like to extend a very special and heartfelt thank you to Ofra Melissa Juana and Maria Luz Martinez, two long term care givers, for taking great care of our mom and loving her over the years. Thank you to Annette Sandoval and Agape Hospice as well.
