Norman Klapman

Norman Klapman of Green Valley, AZ passed away peacefully at home on November 10, 2020 at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his dear and loving wife Toby Fay Klapman. Married for 62 years, Toby was his childhood sweetheart and absolute love of his life. Both were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and were married there before moving to California with their dear friends Nancy and Max Filkow. Norman retired from his job as a bread sales and deliveryman to all the major chains and amusement parks in Southern California. He was highly respected and loved by his numerous customers. Norman and Toby moved to Arizona in 2011 along with their daughters and Toby passed away with Alzheimer’s in 2012. Norman was an avid music lover. He had a great sense of humor and infectious smile. He was inseparable from his dog Teddy, and they were seen every morning at the dog park together. Being with his family was the most important thing to him. Norman is survived by his daughter Meryl Day, daughter and son-in-law Karen and Harold Baker, 2 grandchildren, Brandon (wife Laura), and Mallory (husband Chris), 4 great grandchildren and a brother Sam (Sister-in-law Arlene). Norman will forever be loved and sorely missed by his family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Friday Nov 13, 2020 at 2:00pm Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson.
