My sympathy to Glenn's family. My brother (Richard) and I go way back with Glenn -- to "Carrollton Days." We shared a lot in common: Preacher]'s Kids, twins (though we were identical), lived on the same block. Lots of great memories of baseball games in field nearby, eating green apples from their tree, watching "King Kong" at their home (our parents wouldn't let us). I last saw Glenn in 1990 at "The Gobbler" (half way between Milwaukee and Madison) shortly after my mother passed away. Ironically, I found a picture of Glenn just the other day going back to "School Days." Will miss one of the few connections that remain from Carrollton Days.

Liberty residents and Liberty United Methodist Church members may recall when Glenn and Anita Manis lived on Thornton St. In the 1970’s. Our girls were about the same age as theirs. He was our attorney and I, among others, was a founding person (art director) of his SolEn Industries company. We had a retail storefront on Water St. The business had solar installations in the Northland, displayed at Bartle Hall expos, and had a project with Farmland Research Farm for a time in the late 1970’s.
My sincere condolences to Glenn's family. He was a good man who lived a good life. It was a honor a privilege to know him from our time at William Jewell College until now.
