She was my 5th grade teacher at Holoway.
5th grade was such a big year for me as so much happened and i really had a rough time, i havent even lived in Arizona since 2 year after i was in her class, but i always remember the patience and compassion she had for me, knowing that even though i was trouble. I was having a rough time, ill also never forget someone tried to take her from us back then when her car window saved her life, RIP Ms. Damiani

I had the incredible joy of first meeting Nancy when my son Dustin entered her classroom at Holaway Elementary in the early ‘90’s. Throughout that school year, I got to listen to amusing and insightful stories of Nancy that my son frequently came home with. It was quite obvious that Nancy was not only a truly gifted and impassioned educator, but a genuinely lovely and caring woman. She had such an incredible impact on our young son, that long after he left the grade school, he would return as a student now in middle school... with cameras rolling from KGUN 9 to surprise her with their Apple Award for Excellence. To this day, it is one of Dustin’s most cherished childhood memories. I stayed in touched with this dear person who I humbly called my friend long after our children were raised. Nancy taught me so much about what a strong faith can do and she truly was a light for Jesus. Her deep love and joy that came from her family was obvious and my son and I send our heartfelt and deepest condolences to them. The best of Nancy lives on in their lives and their smiles. That is the blessing and radiance being around her gave us all.
Nancy always had bright, beautiful hair, and a smile that would light up the room, as we remember her. It’s always hard on the family left behind, especially when you lose a special lady. So were glad you all have such great memories with her, to cherish. Love, from the Jameson’s. ❤️
What I remember most about Nancy is the way she was always upbeat. She always had a smile on her face and was such a happy person to whomever she met. She had a desire to know the Lord and I know he was totally in her life. She will be missed but not forgotten
