My most cherished memory of Drew also occurred when he was about 4. I was visiting the Gyorkes at their home in Vegas and lingering in the guest bed a bit luxuriously before getting up. The door creaked open and there was Drew on his hands and knees, tiger mask on his face, letting out a tentative high-pitched roar. Before the roar even finished he ripped the mask off his face, and in this very concerned earnest voice said "Don't be scared, it's just me!". That's the kind of guy he was. Phil and I are deeply saddened by this loss and the fact that we lived apart and we didn't get to know him as he grew up. Love and condolences to Sarah, Andy and Clare. We miss you and wish we could have been there for the service.
I had the pleasure to meet Drew when he was 4 years old. We were neighbors and I watched him grow and become the "dream son" for his parents. He was warm, caring, and generous to everyone around him. My heart goes out for this tremendous loss of a wonderful man. I wish I could have had more time with him as raindrops fall from my eyes.
