Abelardo M. Pesqueira's Obituary
Abelardo M. Pesqueira, 90, life-long resident of Tucson, passed away January 20, 2014. He was the son of the late Jesus M. and Juana (Mendoza) Pesqueira. He served with the US Army during WW II and the Korean Conflict. Later he was employed by Hughes Aircraft and later worked for the City of Tucson until his retirement in 1985. Mr. Pesqueira is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Elsa; children, Elaine (Ollie) Valenzuela, John (Marika) Pesqueira and Lupita (Mehdi) Sadatmousavi. He was proud of his grandchildren, Veronica (Jeremy Butcher) Valenzuela, Patti (Ernie) Durazo, Amanda Valenzuela, Michael Sadatmousavi and Leyla Sadatmousavi and great grandson, Joseph Durazo. He leaves many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, February 8, 2014 at St. Margaret's Church, 801 N. Grande Ave. Private burial will be in EVERGREEN CEMETERY. The arrangements are by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
