Adele Elizabeth Welch's Obituary
ADELE E. WELCH Age 93, long time resident of Arizona, passed away January 24, 2012 in Tucson. She was born in Templeton, MA, daughter of the late Edson and Flora (Hull) Baird. Adele was a Registered Nurse and worked in area hospitals. She taught aerobics for the Tucson Association of the Blind. She was active in the Senior Olympics. Friends and family will remember her for her paintings, both water color and oil. Mrs. Welch was predeceased by her husband; John S. Welch in 1975, and is survived by her daughters Joanne (Donald) Manuel of Florence; Maureen (David) Webb of Mesa and Carol (Gary) McClain of Tucson. She was the proud grandmother of nine; great grandmother of 20 and great great grandmother of six. She leaves a sister, Eleanor (Richard) Rhilinger of Florence and brother, George (Beverly) Baird of CT; and was predeceased by a brother Edson, Jr. and his wife, Peggy. Caring for the needs of her family was the foremost purpose of her life. A Memorial Service will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Calvary Chapel West, 5170 South Julian Drive, Tucson. The arrangements are by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
