Maupin, (Alameda) Elizabeth of Tucson, Arizona went home to be with the Lord on June 16th, 2021. She leaves behind her beloved children: Kenneth (Lucy) Maupin, Gayla (Scott) Bird, Tami (Tedd) Handy, daughter-in-law Ann Maupin; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a large loving family and many friends. She was reunited in Heaven, on the streets of gold, with her husband Billy Charles, sons Gary and Michael and lots of family who had gone on before her. Elizabeth was born in Portales, N.M. in 1936 and moved to Tucson, AZ. at the age of 18. She then started her life with Bill in 1955 and raised five children. Her greatest love was being a mother and grandmother. In 1956, she helped Bill open Creative Wrought Iron and they started the Lighthouse Gospel Tract Foundation in 1970. She helped pastor and counsel many people over the years. Elizabeth was like a mother to so many people and always extended her time to anyone in need. She touched many lives through her kind words. She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
