The BEST doctor I ever had. He was always strait forward and honest. His temperament and personality would put you at ease. He personally had compassion and cared about every person he cam in contact with. Every time I went to Saint Mary's hospital ER, no matter what the reason or the time of night he would show up to oversee my care. He even gave me his personal cell number and said if you need me anytime call. Kat and I moved to Phoenix in 2019 and lost touch. We have constantly missed him since. We have lost a true diamond. I just heard of Alan's passing today. I worked at the gym he went to regularly and he made a point to learn the staff names and spoke to each of us. In my early days of employment, I would bring my oldest son on Sunday's. He became knows as the "Captain" and for many years after, Alan would always ask about him and genuinely cared about his wellbeing. You will be truly missed! May his memory be a blessing to Gail and his family and friends!

Sadly, I just learned of Dr. Cohn's passing. I have such fond memories of working with him at St. Mary's Hospital, for many years. He was a kind and loving human being. He treated his patients with skill and respect. He took the time to talk to all of the nursing staff and knew our names. I will cherish our conversations and my time working with him.

What a great guy. I know his friends from Tucson General will miss him, too.
He really supported my decision to go into Nephrology and eventually joined AKDHC.

Alan has been my dear friend for the last 43 yrs. I can still hear his cheerful laugh ringing down the hallways wherever he was. He was truly loved by his patients and those that worked with him. I will cherish the many memories he has left with me. Rest in peace, Alan.
