Alfred Harold Harvill's Obituary
Alfred "Alford" H. Harvill, fondly known as Buddy, was born on March 16, 1935 in Ozark, Missouri to Alfred and Ethel Harvill. He passed away peacefully in his home on March 4, 2021 surrounded by family who came from near and far to be by his side.
Buddy is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Althea Harvill (Dover), whom he lovingly called “Sweet Alfie”; their son Ernest Ross and siblings Vonda, Wanda, Coetta, Myrt, Lloyd, and Floyd. He is survived by his brother Donny; children Ray Harvill (Julie), Cindy Pennell (Steve), Nancy Whitehurst (Jeff), and his pride and joy - his many grandchildren and great grandchildren to whom he leaves a great legacy of faith in Christ, love for others, and perseverance.
Buddy served in the National guard October 1954 - May 1956. He worked at Rainbo Bakery and other companies as a truck driver for the majority of his working years. But no doubt his favorite titles were husband, father, and grandfather.
Buddy will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 10:00am at Evergreen Cemetery. There will be a graveside service open to anyone who would like to come honor this incredible man and remember the magnificent life he lived. The service will also be available to view via zoom for those who are unable to attend in person. The link for that is attached below:
