Arlyne Tarpley's Obituary
Arlyne Tarpley passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at her home in Hood River, Oregon. Arlyne was born February 16, 1931 and was 84 years of age at the time of her passing.
Arlyne was born in Hammond (Hessville), Indiana to Louis and Clara (Hopp) Wagner. She grew up in Hammond, Arylne married William Tarpley June 10, 1950 in Hammond. Arlyne and family moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1973 and then in 2010 to Hood River, Oregon.
Arlyne and William owned and operated Sharidon Trailer Park in Tucson from 1973 to 1983. She enjoyed bowling and trips to the casino. William preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by her brother Donald Wagner and his wife Elva Mae.
Arylne is survived and will be dearly missed by her children, Judy (Mark) Scheeringa of Hood River, Oregon and Susan (Greg) Monks of Noblesville, Indiana; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ann Smith and cousin, Betty Gundmonson.
Services are planned as follows at the Evergreen Mortuary (3015 North Oracle Road, Tucson, Arizona 85705 - (520) 428-7793) on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 with viewing starting at 9:00 a.m. and her graveside at 10:30 a.m. where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
