Arthur Joseph Bonnin's Obituary
Arthur J. Bonnin, 76, went to his eternal home on June 1, 2018. Born June 19, 1941 to Hollis A. and Margaret (Farmer) Bonnin in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He attended Black School in Eau Claire until 1954, at which time the family moved to Tucson. Tucson became his permanent residence. After graduating from Amphitheatr High School he served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963.
When returning to Tucson he was united in marriage to Alta (Susan) Myers. To this union two children were born, Virginia Dawn and Richard Dean Bonnin.
He was employed by the Duvall Copper Mines and retired from the Mines in 1989.
After the death of his wife Susan in 1990, he was united in marriage to Beth in 1995 and operated a nursing home until 2000. This marriage ended in divorce in 2000, at which time he moved to the Picture Rocks area. He was united in marriage to Kathy Cross in November of 2007.
Arthur is survived by his son Richard, wife Sara and grandson James Bonnin. Three sisters Lucy Mae Bonnin, Grandfield Oklahoma, Louise Bauer, Alma, Wisconsin, and Lorraine Steinberger, Cedar City, Utah, and one aunt Alice Beckman and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Alta Susan, stepdaughter Patricia, daughter Virginia, parents Hollis and Margaret, inlaws Jane and Elmo Myers. Wife Kathy Bonnin, mother in law Mabel Cross.
