I was lucky enough to have Barbara as my dearest friend and confidant for nearly 49 years. To think of her in the past tense is impossible for me. Barbara was and extraordinary woman - courageous, wise, loving and compassionate. She adored her children and grandchildren and was so proud of you all. We shared some wonderful times and some terrible times. I know that Barbara will live in our hearts forever.
Barbara was one of the finest, most generous women I have ever known. After I retired from teaching, I wanted to learn mah jongg. I was most pleased to learn that Barbara taught mahj at the JCC, and I signed up for her class. Her patience, clear explanations, and attention given to each student made the class both informative and lots of fun. After I learned how to play, I joined her Sunday mahj group and always enjoyed playing with her. She was a hostess extraordinaire, and she got me hooked on smoked salmon pinwheels! I am privileged to have known Barbara and am sad she is no longer with us. My condolences to her family -

Barbara and Frank are some of the most welcoming and loving people. Growing up, they always invited me into their home and intro their lives. Their spirt thrives in their kids, grand kids, and, I hope, a little bit in me. I am fortunate to have known them. Love to josh and Paula. Dave yang and family.
