Barbara G. Short's Obituary
Barbara G. Short, 91, passed away on December 19, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, James W. Short, her four children, and their extended families.
She was a retired elementary school teacher from Palm Beach County in Florida. She and her husband were avid campers, birders, and travelers. She was particularly proud that they had traveled to 49 of the 50 states.
She remained actively involved in her community by volunteering with such groups as the Lupus Foundation, Adult Literacy Program, Cros Food Program, and her church.
A graveside service will be held on December 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Mortuary Cemetery& Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Employee Appreciation Fund of The Forum, 2500 N. Rosemont Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85712, for the kindness and care they gave to Barbara during her final days.
