I really like this picture of Barbara. She looks so at ease and happy. When I took a closer look, I noticed her watch and her earrings and necklace. Barbara was not a person overly focused on her looks, but when she got dressed up, especially to go to church, she liked to have a watch to match each outfit and also unique earrings to compliment the look. On one recent birthday, I asked her what she wanted and she said if it wouldn't be too much trouble, she wanted some new batteries put in her watches.
I thought that would be fine so she gave me a bag full of watches for Paul to resurrect with new Evereadys. I don't know how much he spent on batteries, but she was happy with them and thought she'd be set for a long, long time.
She also loved the unique earrings I found at the Blue Willow. Her favorites were hummingbirds, cardinals, flowers, and other things she thought were "cute". She had rodeo ensembles, 4th of July outfits, Christmas sweatshirts, all with matching shoes too. I think that is where her artistic side came out.
