Ben Ying Huie's Obituary
Ben Ying Huie 88, of Tucson, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on March 5, 2013. Ben was a respected architect whose legacy included the original Casas Adoes shopping center. Survived by his devoted wife, Goldie Don Huie; loving children, Sharon (Stephen), Douglas (Debbie), Patricia (Sam), Audrey (Alberto), Carolyn (Richard) and grandchildren, Darren, Stephanie, Kelsey, Elizabeth, Lauren, Daniel, Matthew, Ryley, Lily and Elena. Also survived by sister, Mei Lei Louie and family of Colorado Springs. Services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Evergreen Mortuary Chapel, N. Oracle Rd. & W. Miracle Mile with visitation at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center.
