Betty R. Friedlander's Obituary
Betty Desberg Friedlander (nee Roubicek)
A great lady passed away in Tucson, Arizona, August, 30th, 2015 at 96 years old.
She is survived by her sons Richard (Beth) and William (Karen), grandsons
Ian (Gwen), Alex (Jen), Brian (Catherine), and Todd (Melissa) and her adoring
great-grandchildren, Sasha, Owen, Spencer, Logan, Trey, Daniel, Jack and Ruby.
She and her husband Ira Desberg first vacationed in Arizona in the 1940s and after
his death, she married Milton Friedlander and retired to Tucson in the 1970s.
When Milton died, her love of family, travel and bridge kept Betty at the top of her
game and joined her life partner Irving Silverman for 10 years.
Betty is also survived by her sisters, Elaine Rippner of Tucson, and Doris Stern
of Boynton Beach, FL. Burial will be at Mayfield Cemetery, Cleveland.
