Betty Lou Sabor's Obituary
Betty Lou (Miller) Sabor 76 years. old of Tucson, went to be with her Lord on March 10, 2016. Preceded in death her husband John Charles Sabor; Mrs. Sabor is survived by her two children John Paul Sabor of Tucson and Rose Ann (Moises) Perez of Phoenix. Grandmother of Deanna Rose, Max and Alex Perez. Sister of Janet Sue Johnson of CA, Joseph Lee Miller, Dennis Glenn Miller, Ellis Craig Miller and Connie Lynn Sembach all of AZ. During her high school years Betty Lou was a cheerleader, Girl Scout and as a gifted musician playing the piano, trombone and accordion. During this time she appeared on several televised charity events to raise money for handicapped children. She also sang in school choruses and assisted in putting the musical program together for the Christmas and Easter. Mrs. Sabor came to the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind as a Teachers Assistant and taught children how to read brail. This is where she met her beloved husband John Charles who also was employed at the school as a bus driver. In 1968 they married and started a family first giving birth to John Paul and six years later to Rose Ann. Betty is retired from the State of Arizona. Betty was a member of the Woman’s Aglow Ministry and the Chapter of the Woman’s Magnificot, she was also a devoted member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Tucson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Church Service, 12:30 PM on Wednesday, March 16th at the First Southern Baptist Church, 445 E. Speedway Blvd. A public visitation will be held starting at 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Mrs. Sabor was a firm believer in Philippians 4:13 verse which states: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
