Billie Gaye Cresto's Obituary
Billie Gaye Cresto, 79, of Tucson, Arizona, lost her battle with Cancer on July 19, 2024. Billie was born in Jumbo, Arkansas, in 1945 to Bynum Black and Velma Marie Estes, and the family moved to Northern Arizona when she and her sister were children.
Billie devoted herself to raising her three children while pursuing a higher education at Pima County Community College. Then began a 30-year career at Tucson Telco Federal Credit Union as a loan officer and retired as Co-President in 2004. Her dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on those she worked with and served.
A devout Christian and member of the Church of Christ, Billie's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was known for her unwavering love, kindness, and devotion to her family. Billie was cherished by all who knew her, leaving a legacy of love and compassion.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents, Bynum and Velma, her grandson Khristopher McFarland, her sister Gwen Koury, brother-in-law Joe Koury, and her granddaughter Brenna McFarland.
She is survived by her children, Robert McFarland, Ronald McFarland and his wife Linda, and Michelle Bennett and her husband David; her grandchildren Rachel Wilson and her husband Will, Craig Bennett and his wife Bethany, Alex McFarland and his wife Brittany, Max McFarland, Dani McFarland and her husband Dakota McCoskey, and Isabel Bennett; and by her great-grandchildren Alexis, Amelia, Lillian, Christopher, James, Canyon, Liara, Cade, Kairi, Caroline, and Aerith. Nephews, Chris and Craig Koury, nieces, Laura Forrey and Kim Koury. Great-nieces and nephews Bryan, Meagan, Nick, Ashley, Emily, Ryan, and many extended family and friends will lovingly remember her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at Ina Road Church of Christ at 2425 W Ina Rd., Tucson, AZ.
The family requests donations to The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory continue to inspire and comfort those who knew and loved her.
