Brian Kevin Perrill's Obituary
A brave 47 year long struggle came to an end June 16, 2020, when Brian Kevin Perrill passed away. Brian dealt with severe kidney problems his entire life. His first surgery was at six weeks and three days of age and he spent over half of his first year in the hospital. Several times the doctors said he would not live through the night. Only his will to survive kept him going. Throughout his life, he had over 200 surgical procedures, including five kidney transplants. When he was young, he played with the other kids in the children’s ward and gave the nurses fits as often as possible. In all his years, he appreciated doctors with a sense of humor, but he always wanted them to tell him the truth about his condition, no sugar coating. The only negative event he complained about was a lower back surgery that left him incontinent.
Through everything, Brian kept his sense of humor, his zest for life and he always looked to the future. He loved people and especially little children. Brian would do anything he could to help others. He was a loyal friend and his courage in facing his adversities was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Brian is survived by his mother, Rose Marie Perrill, his father, Robert H. Perrill, one sister, Joymarie Jones, his nephew, Austin Jones and a grand niece, Aurora Peace Jones.
