Carl David Atkinson's Obituary
CARL DAVID ATKINSON 49, long time resident of Tucson, passed way September 29, 2012. He was born Dec. 4, 1962 into a military family stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. He graduated from Sahuaro High School with the class of 1981. He has been employed as a LPN for the past 25 years at various facilities in the area. Carl was a devoted Christian family man, who loved to be outdoors in nature, riding his bike and otherwise caring for his family. He had a Black Belt in tae kwon do and liked to cook. He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Sylvia Zapata and a son, Victor F. Bustamante. He leaves two brothers, Charles R. Atkinson of Benson and his twin, Clifford P. (Carmelita) Atkinson of Tucson, a sister Colleen R. (Frank) Lisciandrello of Tucson and three nieces and a nephew. Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Saturday, October 6, 2012 at New Spirit Lutheran Church, 8701 E. Old Spanish Trail, Tucson. Visitation will be held Saturday at the church from 9 AM until the time of service. Arrangements are by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
