Carol Sue Dunlap's Obituary
In loving memory of Carol Sue Porter-Daniels Dunlap, of Tucson AZ, who passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015. Carol was born March 25, 1943, in Adrian, Michigan, she was the last surviving child of Archie Porter and Sylvia Daniels. She was proceeded in death by her parents Archie Porter, Kenneth Daniels and Sylvia Daniels; her husband, Glen Dunlap; brother, Carlton Porter; and sister, Loretta Raburn. Survivors are daughter, Beverly White of Belvidere, Illinois; son, David Dunlap of Tucson, Arizona; four grandchildren; and the many close friends who loved her and were in her life. Carol was a graduate of Oakton Community College, in Des Plaines, Illinois, and became a License Practical Nurse. In addition to nursing, she was also a volunteer for the Island Lake Civil Defense, in Island Lake, Illinois; Alabama Fire and Rescue in Haleyville, Alabama, and the Pima County Sherriff's Department in Tucson, Arizona. Since Carol's brother retired from the Air Force, and her son was serving in the Army in the Persian Gulf, she was also a strong supporter of our troops. Carol also had a life-long passion for coffee and chocolate, and her beloved dog "Baby." Cremation will take place at Evergreen Cemetery and Mortuary at 3015 North Oracle Road, Tucson, Arizona and her ashes will be placed in the Urn Garden next to her mother and brother.
