Carol S. Kestler's Obituary
CAROL S. KESTLER
Age 74, long time resident of Tucson, passed away July 17, 2015. Carol was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Herman) Levine. She was the founder and Executive Director of Arts Genesis, an organization that made art instruction available in less privileged schools. She was a widely known as a Judaic teacher and artist. Many will remember her talents as a jeweler. She leaves her beloved husband, Richard J. Kestler; devoted sons, Edward (Evelyn) Kestler of Tucson and Aharon (Greta) Brun-Kestler of W. Hempstead, LI, NY. Mrs. Kestler was proud of her 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A brother David Levine (Judith Katz) resides in Washington, DC. She leaves a nephew, Daniel Levine. Graveside Services will be held 9 AM, Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Congregation Anshei Israel Section of EVERGREEN CEMETERY, N Oracle & W Miracle Mile.
