Carolyn R. Golson (1938-2016)
Carolyn passed away in Tucson, Arizona on Monday, February 22, 2016 due to complications from falling and breaking both legs. She is survived by her daughter Linda Greeley of Tucson, and step-daughters Nancy Bennett of Indian Land, SC and Kathy Bennett of Austin, TX.
Carolyn was a self-employed accountant before having to retire due to her health in 1973. She loved reading Jan Karon novels, watching championship Jeopardy and Downton Abbey, and the coo of the white-winged dove in the spring.
A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Mortuary on Friday, February 26th at 2:00pm, to be followed by a reception at the Tucson Meadows Clubhouse (2121 S. Pantano Rd) at 4:00. The family requests that donations be made to Mobile Meals of Tucson http://www.mobilemealsoftucson.org/donate.html in her memory.
