When me and Her went to California ❤, You will always be missed and loved Cassandra. I will always remember you
I had the absolutely honor of having Cassandra as a student for 2 years (2022-2024). One of my favorite memories of Cassandra took place during her time in the Odyssey of the Mind Program. Cassandra’s team was fortunate enough to win their regional level competition and advance to the state level. When we got to the state competition, we discovered that one of her teammates had to stay at home sick, meaning that her team would likely have to forfeit since they did not have a back up. Cassandra, however, saved the day. She volunteered to take the place of the missing team member. She memorized dozens of lines in only a couple of hours and completed the entire performance with passion, energy, and humor. I remember being blown away at Cassandra’s talent and bravery. It still impresses me to this day.
I feel so lucky to have had the privilege of knowing Cassandra during her middle school years. Wishing love and healing to all or her family and loved ones.
