Charlotte Ann Wolverton's Obituary
Charlotte Ann Wolverton, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 27, 2020 in Cedartown, Georgia. She will be laid to rest with her beloved parents and sister, at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona.
Charlotte was born on May 4th, 1949 in Henderson, Texas to William “Papa” and Virginia “Sug” Wolverton. She has lived in Tucson, Arizona most of her life and moved to Georgia about 20 years ago to be with her daughter and her family.
Charlotte had such a free-spirited nature, and she truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She enjoyed the company of her dogs throughout her life, loved to wear tie-dye dresses, and was known as “Mustang Sally” for the red sports cars she owned. She was the definition of a true hippie. Charlotte was one of the first original contributors to one of Tucson’s famous hipster street festivals on 4th Avenue. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren unconditionally.
She is predeceased by her parents, and her sister Celia “Cece” Joy. She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Scott) Lewis; her son Zachary (Jen) Dancil; her grandchildren Shay, Rebecca, Madison and Eliana; and her great grandchildren Lillian and Noah.
Graveside services will be held on Friday December 4th, 2020 at 1:00pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson. All are welcome.
