Chelsea Irene Duncan Vance's Obituary
Chelsea Irene Duncan Vance was welcomed into the world by her parents, David and Linda Duncan, and her brother, Chad, on May 25, 1985 in Tucson, Arizona.
As she grew, she developed a love for roller skating, swimming, snowboarding, painting, traveling, playing her guitar and singing, and designing floral arrangements. Her greatest love was her faith in Jesus Christ.
These passions led her into a variety of endeavors: the tourism industry in Alaska, the food service industry at Cody's Beef and Beans, the music industry as a local recorded artist, the 24-hour roadside assistance at AAA, and the business ownership of Wildwood and Bloom Floral Designs.
She served people through numerous mission trips with the youth group at Flowing Wells Baptist Church and the planning and participation of charity events with the Customized Ladies.
Chelsea married the love of her life, John Vance, on August 28, 2020. She looked forward to being a second mom to his daughter, Lexi, and Tia to her new brother-in-law's future son, Zach Jr. She was so happy with her new family and dog, Pistol.
Chelsea left them behind on September 6, 2020 as well as John's mother, Roberta; father, John; brother, Ben and brother, Zach and his fiancé', Oksana who is expecting Zach Jr. soon.
She also left her parents and brother, Chad and wife Alice, and son, Clayton.
Chelsea has been welcomed into heaven by her savior, Jesus Christ, her grandparents, R.B. and Ruth Duncan; and Estel and Mildred Buckner; several aunts and uncles, and "grandma" Harmon.
On Saturday, September 19, 2020, Bethel Community Baptist Church — which Chelsea dearly loved being a member of — will host Chelsea's viewing at 9:00AM followed by her funeral at 10:00AM. Her burial will be after the service at Evergreen Cemetery at 3015 N. Oracle Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gospel Rescue Mission.
The funeral service may be viewed live on Chelsea's Facebook Page and Zoom.
