Cheryl Lynne (White) Mason's Obituary
Cheryl Lynne [White] Mason, 68, embraced the arms of our Lord Jesus on May 5, 2024. Lynne was born on August 21, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. Lynne and her husband Turning Bear moved to Tucson in 2005 from White Fish, Montana. Preceded in death by her father Louis E. White and nephew Jesse Ryan Smith. Survived by mother Barbara L. White, brother Christopher L. White, [wife Kathy] sister Denise M. [White] Smith [husband Art]. nephew Tim White [wife Kerri] niece Lori [White] Long [husband Brant] nephew Mathew White [wife Rachel] nephew Paul White [wife Latina] nephew David White [wife Courtney] nephew Caleb Smith niece Danielle [Smith] May [husband Tanner] stepdaughter Heather Compton [husband Shannon] and children [Will, Miles, & Ramona] There are loads of cousins, grand nieces and nephews who adored her lovingkindness. Lynne loved deeply and was tenderhearted toward ALL! Her hospitality was known as soon as you heard her welcoming voice and tasted her food and coffee at her table.
Lynne graduated from Bloom Carroll High School in 1973 in Carroll, Ohio and traveled to Miami Florida to attain her college degree in Bible and Nursing from Miami Christian College. She acquired several degrees by 1980 which included her LPN, BSN, and Nurse Midwifery. Lynne started her degree in nursing delivering babies in hospitals & homes. She became a learner of holistic medicine of which we all were recipients. She graduated as a hydration specialist and became a passionate advocate for the elderly in Tucson, AZ. She was also the COO for Turning Bear Fine Art. Lynne loved singing and studying the Bible. She lived a life that modeled this truth,
1 Corinthians 13:13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to her loving church friends along with all the men and women who have served and loved Lynne as she has finished her race on earth. To God be All the glory.
All are welcome to celebrate her life with a memorial service at Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church May 31, 2024 @ 1PM .
