I was very happy to learn I was going to be an aunt for the first time. Chris was my godson. I enjoyed every minute I was with him.
When he was older, like 14, he came to Virginia with my mom. He was a great cousin to our girls, Corey and Kate. They loved him and my sister's other kiddos, Vinnie and Laura, very much.
He was so mature and handsome.
Chris was thoughtful, not only to family, but to others.
Then in later life, seeing him as he became Beth's husband and father to Madison and Jaxon. He was a terrific husband and father. He loved his family and it was obvious.
Chris was loyal. He was the type of person who had your back if you were family or friend.
I'm sorry he's gone. I'm sorry I won't be able to see him or hug him. But there is hope. Hope in the Lord that I will indeed see him again one day in Heaven with Grandma and Vinnie.
