Clarence Wilson's Obituary
Clarence, aka PaPaw and Clancey, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 18, 1926 In Detroit, MI and moved to Tucson in 1946 where he made his home. In 1947 he married the love of his life, Teresa, who died three years ago. Clarence served in the Pacific Theater with the US Navy during WW II and later was a union plumber with Local 741. He never said no to anyone who needed a plumber. He also served on the FWHS board and was always there for the youth. No one was ever a stranger to Clarence. He and Teresa loved Rocky Point (Cholla Bay) and together they enjoyed many years there. They nurtured many families in Rocky Point. He is survived by his daughters, Devrah (Clayton) Gideon, Dolores Vargas-Michaels, son, Paul (Jenny) Wilson and foster daughter, Sharon Kelly. Clarence leaves 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank all who assisted in caring for Clarence. A Graveside Service, with military honors, will be held at 10 AM Friday, May 6, 2016 in Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
