Clifford E. Schultz's Obituary
Clifford E. Schultz died peacefully on Feb. 20th 2015 in Tucson, AZ at the age of 81.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Mary; brother Conrad (Louella) Schultz , children, John (Cheryl) Schultz, Marilyn (Wayne Hougas) , Steven (Becky) Schultz, Danny Schultz, Randy Schultz, Tim (Laura Anderson) Bob (Judy Anderson) Theresa (Dave Pope), Autumn Jones, Robert (Berta) Schultz, David Jones. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Ernest and Elva Schultz, brother David Schultz, brother Gerald Schultz, his daughter Donna Jean, and his son Clifford Jr.
Cliff was born on Jan 4th, 1934 in St. Paul, MN to Rev. Ernest and Elva Schultz. He moved to Sheboygan Wisconsin in 1965 and became involved in stock car racing. Cliff was a Nationally Certified Food Service Supervisor and a State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. One of his favorite hobbies was stock car racing. He was a member of the Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car Association. In 1972 a farm accident left him paralyzed from the waist down. His determination put him back behind the wheel of his racecar complete with hand controls. In 1974 he was named Handicapped Man of the Year by The Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car Association and in 1975 he was named Wisconsin Handicapped Man of the Year by the Wisconsin Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations in Madison. He moved to Tucson in 1979 and retired there with his wife Mary. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 28, 2015 at Evergreen Mortuary Chapel, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile. Friends may call 10 am until time of service.
