David P. Lim's Obituary
David P. Lim Born in Tucson Jan. 29, 1923 and died on April 11, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Coralie; and brothers-in-law Art Chan and Harold Don. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Louise Chin; his brother, Harold; and sisters, Dorothy and Jean. He served in the US Army Air Corps in WWII and received 3 Air Medals and a Good Conduct Medal after flying 22 missions over Germany in a B-24. He graduated from U.A. with degrees in agriculture and civil engineering, and worked for the City of Tucson in planning and zoning for 25 years. The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:30 AM, at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, with Fr. Dale Jamison, O.F.M. officiating. Following this will be the traditional banquet at Dragon View. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to AFD Pension Fund, Alpine Fire Dept., Alpine, AZ 85920 or the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center, 1288 W. River Rd., Tucson, AZ 85704.
