Desiree "Desi" James' Obituary
Desiree "Desi" James, a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and partner, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories. Born on June 13th, 1957, in Augusta, Kansas, Desi spent the last 32 years of her life in Tucson, Arizona.
Desi was preceded in death by her son Joshua Barr McIntyre, mother Rita Carol Bishop, father Duane Earl Canfield, and brother Duane Randall "Randy" Canfield. She is survived by her daughter Tera Ridgway, son Christopher James McIntyre, sister Dawn Hartman, and brother Dana Canfield. Her loving family also includes grandchildren Madison Ent, Jenna Ridgway, Krysta Werner, Kindra McIntyre, Torin Ridgway, Kloie Clark, Colson McIntyre, and Cayden McIntyre, as well as great-grandchildren Michael Ent, Weslin Ent, Sebastian Mincy, and Crew Clark. Additionally, she is survived by her niece Natacia Hartman and nephew Zach Canfield.
For the last 12 years, Desi shared her life with her loving partner, Rick Monroe. Rick remembers Desi as a lovely and caring person who brought joy to those around her.
She had a passion for shopping, riding her scooter, and singing - whether others wanted to hear it or not! Her favorite color, pink, was a staple in her life, and she loved everything about it.
Desi will be missed and may she now find eternal peace and rest.
