Diana Lauretta (Hebert) Moultroup & Willard Goodrich Moultroup's Obituary
Diana Lauretta (Hebert) Moultroup 88, passed away peacefully at home, August 9th, 2024 with family by her side. She was born March 2, 1936 in Burlington, VT. In 1954, Diana married her sweetheart, Bill and moved to MA where the couple built a life rich with family, raising three children. Together they moved from Massachusetts to Arizona in 1975, trading the four seasons of the East Coast for warmer weather.
Diana is survived by her brother Richard “Dick” Hebert (Susan), daughter Deborah "Debbie" Buck-Monroe (Cal), son Willard Raymond "Billie" Moultroup (Liz), daughter Karen Cutlip (Glenn), grandchildren: Kristin, Heather, Shawn, Brittany, and Shane, 9 great-grandsons and many extended family members. Diana is preceded in death by her parents Adrien and Alice Hebert, beloved husband Willard “Bill” Goodrich Moultroup, siblings: Adrien Hebert Jr., Theresa Hebert, Claude Hebert, Leo Hebert, Rita Wells, Sallyann (Barstow) La Querre and grandson Ryan Buck.
Diana had a big heart and most often expressed her love through food. You never left her home without goodies. She adored her family and fully embodied her role as a grandmother and GG. A woman with a boundless heart, Diana was very giving and would crochet blankets, make quilts or anything that kept her hands busy to help others. She loved to read and be the story teller. She poured herself into genealogy as well as books about her life experiences. She was an avid poem writer, finding great satisfaction in expressing herself in whimsical prose. Baker, crafter, storyteller, mother, sister, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, these are all but some of the best things about her that when woven together illuminate the beautiful tapestry of a life well lived.
In honoring her memory, Diana's family finds solace in the many ways she touched their lives and the legacy of warmth and care she leaves behind.
