I remember Nana’s unique laugh, and up lifting spirit. A strong courageous woman, I remember her always telling me,”You can do it mijo!” I have memories from growing up at Nana and Papa’s house, with my sibling and cousins, and family get togethers for Holliday at Nana and Papa’s house. Her good cooking, man she could make some awesome bean burritos and chile and meat my favorite! I make the recipe till this day for my family. I would send photos daily to Nana of the family and I. She was always so happy to get pictures through snap chat. I am who I am today, a fighter and a believer in hard work from Nana. Nana fought hard and Im deeply saddened from her passing. Love your mijo always and forever, until we meet again my dear Nana. I love you.
