I dated Donna for a few years in both highs school and college. She and I were best friends, sharing a love of music and travel and the wonderment of the world both in Tucson and beyond. She was a joyous, giving and loving person who had a warmth and open personality. People loved her. She went off to Pepperdine for college and met a man from Lebanon. I saw her again when she moved back but we eventually went our separate ways. I have nothing but the greatest memories of her mom and dad, their home, lunches at Skyline C.C. and a summer visit with them to Mayfield, KY. I honor her memory.

Thank you family and friends for your condolences and sympathy. As you can imagine this is a really difficult time for everyone. My Mom was the most compassionate person I've ever known and we all miss her very very deeply. Death is part of this crazy world which is one of the many reasons my Mom worked hard making sure to make the most of every moment. I know we must all do the same as I hope to emulate her love for family, friends, nature and Christ. One of her favorite scripture verses is Ephesians 3:16-21:
"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."
