Dora M. Espino's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother, Dora Espino, 88, of Tucson, Arizona who departed this earth to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. She was born in Tucson, Arizona. She is the direct descendant of several of the original founding families of the Tucson Presidio. She attended Tucson High School. She was a lifelong resident of Tucson. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife and mother. She dedicated her life to being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her posterity.
Preceded in death by her parents Abran Mendoza and Clara Herreras Mendoza, brothers, George Mendoza and Frank Mendoza, and sisters Lydia Mendoza Reyes, and Clara Mendoza Salaz. Survived by her sisters Cecilia (Robert) Valenzuela, Irene (Ernest) Lopez and brother Abram Mendoza. Also survived by children Richard (Lynne) Espino, George (Tammy) Espino, James Espino, Alexandria Espino, Jacob Espino, Chris Espino, and Nathaniel Espino, She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Dora will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evergreen Mortuary, 3015 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705. A service will be held for her at 10:00 AM at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1220 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713. Burial service will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705, at 12:00PM
