Doris Cantalicio's Obituary
Doris (Boer) Cantalicio, 57 years of age, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Doris was born on April 28, 1959 in Madrid, Spain. Doris was an inspired artist and lived most of her life in Tucson, Arizona. Her artwork has been enjoyed by many in Tucson and California. She loved nature and had a gift for growing beautiful plants. Doris was a talented landscape designer and owned D’ Canta Designs, a Landscape Design & Fountain Maintenance company with Marty True. Her most important role was being a YaYa to three beautiful grandchildren, Caitlin (11), Jacob (11) and Aubrey (7), whom she loved very much and they will miss her tremendously.
Doris is survived by her companion of almost 10 years, Martin True, and her loving son, Robert (Nicole), grandchildren: Caitlin, Jacob & Aubrey, siblings: James (Judy) Boer, Maria ”Christina” (Issac) Koirif, Roger (Kim) Boer, Dawn (Ron) Ludwig, Derek (Helen) Boer & Dana (Randall) Alves. She was also blessed with a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews around the world. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Celia (Cantalicio) Boer and Roger Boer.
A private memorial will be held for Doris. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for future designation to children's art programs.
