Doris Jean Nasados' Obituary
Doris J. Nasados (Guinther), 76 of Tucson, passed away on April 28, 2013 in her home after an almost four year battle with lung cancer. Doris was born in Centralia, PA in 1937. She was part of the last class that ever graduated from Cunningham High School in Natale, PA in 1954. Doris worked for Sunset Pharmacy in Pottstown, PA for 22 years. She always enjoyed interacting with her fellow employees and customers. After moving to Tucson she enjoyed bowling and playing slot machines at the local casino. She always enjoyed winning free prizes from the casinos and would often send care packages to her family in Pennsylvania to share the winnings with them. Doris is survived by her husband of 52 years, Alfred Nasados; her daughter, Shirley Morris, wife of Roland Morris; granddaughter Sarah Fanning, wife of Benjamin Fanning; granddaughter Amy Morris; great-granddaughter Madison Fanning; and her sister, Wilma Ranck (Guinther) of Virginia. She is also survived by two brother-in-laws, Richard Nasados of Texas, and Joseph Nasados (husband of Jeanne Nasados) of Florida and multiple nieces and nephews across the United States. Doris is preceded in death by one son, Reginald Nasados and two brothers, Kenneth Guinther and Charles Guinther. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society. The funeral service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date yet to be determined.
