I had the opportunity to get to know Doris during the past 2 years and during that time we became good friends. What a delightful and caring lady, whose optimism and laughter was so contagious that I rarely left a visit with her that I didn’t have a smile on my face. I am going to miss my dear friend but knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gives me great solace. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
