Dorothy Colleen Cleaver's Obituary
Cleaver, Dorothy Colleen, 89, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away July 16, 2018 at the Asterion Acres Assisted Living home.
Dorothy, also known as Dottie, was born October 27, 1928 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was the daughter of Mark and Rose Farrow. Her two brothers, William and Kenneth, preceded her in death. She also had seven half-brothers and sisters: Leroy, Gladys, Mark, Jr., Geraldine, Kathleen, Sherry, and Joyce.
Dorothy and Herbert Cleaver were married in Kalamazoo on November 25, 1949. They moved to Arizona in 1955 and lived in both Tucson and Silver Bell. Herbert passed away on March 6, 2018. Dorothy is survived by her son David and his wife Suzette and Diane and her husband Richard Stephens. Her grandchildren include Josef (Kate) Stephens, April (Justin Kida), Bekka Cleaver, Suzannah (Tim) Arnold, Andrew (Nina) Cleaver, and Katelyn (Yoonho) Cho. Great-grandchildren include Caden Truhan, Aurora Truhan, Thomas Kida, Eleanor Cleaver, Samuel Kida, Brandon Prince Cleaver, Emi Kida, Jonathan Cleaver, and Finn Arnold.
A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Sunday, July 29, in Barrier Chapel at Casas Church, 10801 N. La Cholla Blvd., Tucson, Arizona 85742, at 4:00 p.m. with a reception immediately following.
