Passed away in Tucson, AZ on September 17, 2023
Served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force, including a tour in Vietnam as an aerial photographer.
Retired from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department after 30 years of service as a forensic technician.
He was a talented professional photographer, whose passion for his craft inspired many works of art for his family to treasure.
He was a master carpenter who created fine wood furniture both for family and for the local arts and crafts community.
He is survived by his children, Jacques(Jesse), Monique(Herbert), Dionne, and Mario(Becky); grandchildren Rene, Stephen, Stevie, Ian, Venessa, Brittany, Alissa, Ryan, Kali and Nadia; and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Sylvia, whom he was devoted to with all his heart.
