EDNA L. ROCKWELL's Obituary
EDNA L. ROCKWELL, WILLIAM O. ROCKWELL, Together again, age 89, of Tucson, daughter of the late H. N. and Ida L. (Runnels) Lawrence, passed away August 31, 2011. Edna was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, William Orval Rockwell on February 25, 2007. She is survived by a daughter, Pat Easter of Tucson, AZ; three sons, Carroll L. Rockwell of Lincoln, CA, William N. Rockwell of Tucson, AZ and Larry K. Rockwell of Clancy, MT. Edna was proud of her 15 grand children, 15 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She leaves a sister, Frances Valiquette of Houston, TX. Edna was recently predeceased by her son, James F. Rockwell of Midland, TX. Mrs. Rockwell managed the furniture department of J.C. Penny store in Las Cruces until her retirement in 1969. When she took up oil painting her talents were held in high regard by family and friends who were grateful recipients of her art. We are thankful and grateful to Hospice Family Care for the loving care given Edna and her family, allowing her to slip away peacefully. A Service will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 3 at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile. Burial will follow in EVERGREEN CEMETERY. Family and friends may call at the mortuary from 10:30 AM Saturday until the time of service.
