Edward P. Carillo's Obituary
Edward was born in White Plains, New York on October 16, 1931. He was raised in Westchester County, New York. He was stationed at Fort Sill. He was recruited along with Joe Namath to play for the University of Alabama football team because he was a fast runner. He entertained the troops by playing football. He was asked to try out for the New York Giants as well. He moved to Tucson in 1970 and started his own laundry business. He met Pattricia Shettleroe in 1987 and they married in 1991. They had two beautiful children Harry and Nekkie. Harry attends the University of Alaska in Kenai, Nekkie attends the University of Arizona. In his professional career he was also a car salesman. He was the top salesman every year for ten years. Eddie loved to dance especially the cha cha with his beautiful wife Pattricia. He also enjoyed playing poker with his family. His son Harry often took him to the casino to play the slot machines. He loved to watch is son play football and basketball and all sports at Salpointe and various leagues. He loved watching his daughter dance in the Nutcracker ballet, cheer at Salpointe and play sports. He loved Arizona and enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the beautiful sunsets with his faithful companion “Lucky” his little dachshund. He loved his wife Pattricia’s cooking, especially Italian food. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. We find comfort in knowing this wonderful man is feasting in paradise with Jesus!
