Edward M. Coury Jr.'s Obituary
Edward Coury, Jr., was called home on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Ed was born in Berwin, IL and grew up in Detroit, MI, but he found his true home in Tucson, Arizona, where he raised his eight children and the sunny beaches of Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Ed's larger than life personality will be forever missed. Edward is survived by his wife of 53 years, Caroline; his sons, Edward, Charles (Mona), Thomas, Frank, Frederick and Kevin (Anna) and his daughters, Dymphna Hoffman (Mark) and Mary Lester (Bill). He is also survived by his younger sister, Marie Lazar. Ed had much love and devotion for his 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. One of his greatest joys in later life was his "seventh" son, Liepchen who was his constant companion. Donations in Ed's memory may be made to Gospel Rescue Mission.
