Elaine Silver Pollock's Obituary
Elaine Silver,Pollock, 81, of Tucson, died July 6, 2011 after a long illness. Elaine was raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University. She subsequently received a Law Degree from the University of Arizona. She studied and became a Psychoanalyst through the Philadelphia Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies and retired in Tucson in 1994. Elaine was married to Herbert E. Pollock, M.D. and is survived by their three children, Dean Pollock, M.D. (Judy Caplan) of Oakton, VA, Terry Pollock (Kyria Sabin) of Tucson, and Kacey (Lee) Sisco of Honolulu, HI. Also survived by a brother, Marvin Silver of Chesterland, OH and grandchildren Anna and Aaron Pollock, Victoria and Madeline Sisco, and Clara and Alexander Pollock. Graveside Service Friday, July 8, 2011, 10:00 AM in the Temple Emanu-El Section of Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Angelas Assisted Living, 1701 N. Ridgeway Rd., Tucson 85712. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.
